Social media can be a great way for artists to connect with their fans, but it can also be a breeding ground for drama. That's exactly what happened recently between Sexyy Red, Latto, and Ice Spice.

Sexyy Red recently reposted a fan post that read: "All these celebrities wasn't wearing @truereligion until Sexyy Red came out."

 Ice Spice liked a tweet posted by a another fan:

"Truthfully them bitches ain't start back dressing in the jeans, bb belts, & jackets MAINSTREAM, until ice spice did it for the in ha mood video. it doesn't matter who was doing it b4 fame, you stopped & started back when you saw the look was coming back last year lamo."

This sparked a debate among fans about who was the true queen of True Religion (Yeah, you read that right).

Latto then responded by liking old photos of herself wearing the brand.

Earlier this year True Religion sponsored a Grammy party held in Latto's honor.

With Hip Hop celebrating 50 years, Lauren Hill's old adage "Everything you did has already been done", certainly applies in many areas of Hip Hop.

So you rappers need to stop it too!
