Nicki Minaj husband Kenneth Petty back on house arrest after threatening to Kill Offset and Cardi B

Nicki Minaj's husband Kenneth Petty was just released from one year of house arrest stemming from his failure to register as a sex offender in the state of California.

Now, the convicted rapist is headed back to house arrest for another four months, after posting videos threatening to kill rapper Offset and his wife Cardi B.

Last week, the 45-year-old was seen in videos posted to social media making threatening remarks while backstage at the MTV Video Music Awards where Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion performed.

Petty's associates further made a series of posts on Instagram where they threatened to harm Cardi B and her family. They tagged Cardi B in the disturbing posts.

This led to Offset messaging one of the individuals to confront him about threatening his wife.

Offset's message seemed to aggravate Petty and his gang who then took to social media to issue further threats.

In the disturbing video, Petty claimed he knew that Offset and Cardi B were planning a vacation soon and that he knew where they would be.

He told the couple that they should be planning a funeral instead of a vacation.

"We gonna get you n****. We know where you at, what's up? Let's go. Let's talk, p**** a** n****," the 45-year-old father taunted while waiting in the street outside a hotel he believed Offset was at.

Offset was at the time hopping off a private jet.

Following the public threats, Cardi B's fans posted the contact information for Petty's probation officer and tagged law enforcement, to bring the threats to their attention

On Wednesday, the United States District Court modified Petty's probation, after taking note of the threats.

Petty, in addition to being sentenced to one year house arrest back in 2022, was also placed on three years' probation.

The threatening videos and association with known gangsters and criminals was a violation of his probation.

In the probation modification, the court stated:

"Mr Petty was recorded on video making threatening remarks towards a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record. This recent violation conduct raises concerns over Mr Petty's willingness to comply with the Court's orders. As such, the Probation Officer believes placement in the Location Monitoring Program will effectively allow for closer monitoring of Mr Petty's activities, limit his movements, provide a sanction for his non-compliance and hopefully encourage him to reflect and reevaluate his current status in the community."

Petty recently pleaded with the Court not to send him back to prison for failing to register as a sex offender. He claimed he was a "changed man" and dedicated father.

Petty also has an ongoing case with Jennifer Hough, the woman he was convicted of raping in 1994.

Hough claims Minaj and Petty contacted her after he was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender. She said they wanted her to write a letter to the court recanting her 1994 rape claim so that Petty could petition to be removed from the sex offender's registry.

Hough claims she was offered money to do so but refused. She claims Petty and his goons proceed to threaten, harass and stalk her to the point of having to move several times. Some of the men seen in the videos with Petty threatening Offset and Cardi B have also followed Hough on social media and have been liking pictures of her children in the past few days, a move Hough sees as a further attempt to intimidate her.

It is not the first time Petty has been accused of sending goons to intimidate a woman.

This isn't the first time Petty has been accused of sending individuals to intimidate a woman. His ex-girlfriend, "Redbone Noe," previously made similar claims, providing evidence of threatening messages and even recording a phone call where Petty allegedly threatened her. Shortly after, she claimed her home was broken into and she was brutally attacked, further solidifying the pattern of intimidation associated with Petty.

Given his history, the court is taking the threats against Offset and Cardi B seriously.

This incident has also no doubt boosted Hough's case as she can now prove Petty is indeed associated with gangs despite his denials to the court.

Meanwhile, on the very day Petty found himself in trouble with the law, Offset and Cardi B celebrated their six-year anniversary. Both posted heartfelt tributes to each other on social media.
