Nicki Minaj Fans accuse Offset and Cardi B of "snitching" on Kenneth Petty

Nicki Minaj's cult fanbase continues to sink to new lows.

This time they are accusing Offset and Cardi of "snitching" on Kenneth Petty after the convicted rapist was placed back on house arrest for violating his probation.

Last week, Petty and a number of alleged gangsters made a series of disturbing posts and videos where they threatened to kill Cardi B and her husband Offset.

Petty, who is on three years' probation for failing to register as a sex offender, was promptly hit with a probation violation as a result of the threats.

Now Minaj's fans are attempting to spin a narrative that Cardi B and Offset went to the police.

However, it's crucial to dissect the facts from the fiction and consider the broader context.

Firstly, going to the police is the right thing to do when your life is threatened. Cardi B is a mother of two small children. Kenneth Petty and his associates threatened to harm her and her family. Going to the police is a reasonable and responsible course of action.

Or perhaps Minaj's fans believe she should allow herself and her family to be murdered? Or take matters into her own hands and engage in a Western-style shootout with Petty?

No, going to the police is the legal way to handle matters like these.

That being said, Cardi B and Offset laughed off the threats and seemed to pay Petty no mind.

Petty however made the threats publicly on the internet. Given his status as a superstar's husband, the videos went viral almost instantly.

Petty is being monitored by law enforcement as a result of his probation. Every move he makes is monitored. It is laughable to think law enforcement did not see the videos posted.

Cardi B's loyal fans also made sure that Petty's probation officer was made aware. Her fans circulated the probation officer's contact information and tagged the police department in the videos of Petty and his associates making the threats.

Further, Petty is currently being sued by the woman he was convicted of raping in 1994.

The victim, Jennifer Hough, would have no doubt alerted her attorneys, as Petty's threats serve as evidence in her case too. They no doubt would have also brought this to the court's attention.

Petty's threats were reported to the police from various sources.

But the police didn't need a report to act. His threats were viral on the worldwide web, and he was already being closely monitored as a result of being on probation. The police use the internet too. It is ridiculous to think Petty's antics, which went viral, somehow escaped their attention. Especially given the superstar status of his wife.

When Petty was arrested in California for failing to register as a sex offender, there was no report made to the police. The police knew he had moved to California because they had seen him on the news, in the blogs and all over with Nicki Minaj. That's how they knew he had moved and were able to arrest him.

It is most likely the case here as well. A report is not needed when the evidence is online for the world to see. Again, police use the internet too.

The attempt to paint Cardi B and Offset as "snitches" is just another desperate attempt by Minaj and her fans to avoid accountability and excuse the behavior of a violent criminal.
