Eve Announces Upcoming Memoir "Who's That Girl?" for September Release

The memoir is co-authored with esteemed Hip-Hop writer Kathy Iandoli.

Hip-Hop icon Eve is set to share her journey through a captivating new memoir.

Titled "Who's That Girl?" after one of her chart-topping tracks, the memoir is scheduled for release on September 17, with the collaboration of acclaimed writer and journalist Kathy Iandoli.

"I'm thrilled to offer a deeper insight into my life with this memoir," Eve expressed. “It's a tale that's been years in the making.”

PEOPLE magazine describes the memoir as a bold, empowering, and uplifting read.

It will delve into Eve's ascent as a trailblazing female rapper, her influence on pop culture and style, and her efforts to juggle her personal and professional lives.

The narrative promises an unfiltered look at the Philadelphia-born artist's path to stardom, uncovering her evolution into a leading voice in a predominantly male hip-hop scene.

It will cover unshared anecdotes from her music career, the challenges she faced before releasing "Lip Lock," her emergence on the music scene as "Eve of Destruction," her groundbreaking Grammy win for Best Rap-Sung Collaboration with Gwen Stefani for "Let Me Blow Ya Mind," and her achievement as the third female rapper to debut at number one on the Billboard 200.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Eve will open up about her relationship with her husband Maximillion Cooper, and their fertility challenges. In February 2022, the couple welcomed their son, Wilde Wolf.

Over her illustrious career, Eve, now 45, has released four studio albums, appeared in 15 movies, led her own sitcom, and was on the series Queens—alongside Brandy, Naturi Naughton, and Nadine Velazquez—and served as a co-host on the Emmy-nominated talk show, The Talk, for three years.

So this should be a good read, to say the least. Can't wait to see what Hip Hop tea she has to spill.
