Sukihana Claps Back at Criticism for Not Identifying as a Musician on Bobbi Althoff's Podcast: Declares Herself a Mogul.

Sukihana is standing firm on her declaration made during a memorable moment on Bobbi Althoff’s podcast, asserting she doesn't identify as a musician.

The rapper and reality TV personality made waves this week on an episode of The Really Good Podcast. Hosted by Bobbi Althoff, who pursues a unique blend of dry and almost indifferent humor, she posed a question to Sukihana about being a musician.

Sukihana, interpreting the question as if asked whether she was a magician, adamantly denied being one.

While the jest was clear to many, some viewers criticized Sukihana for supposedly misunderstanding the term "musician," prompting her to reinforce her statement on Twitter/X with a clip from the show.

"I define myself, and I'm a MOGUL," she asserted, emphasizing her stance. She elaborated in another tweet, "Suki isn't a musician; she's a mogul."

Sukihana and Bobbi Althoff, having developed a rapport last year, showcased their unlikely camaraderie in a clip from a strip club visit that mirrored Althoff's typically awkward interview style.

Posting about their Atlanta outing on her Instagram Story, Althoff expressed, despite appearing out of her element on stage, that she genuinely enjoyed the experience, captioning it with praises for Sukihana.

However, Althoff's comedic approach doesn't resonate with everyone, including sports journalist Jemele Hill, who critiqued the impact of such interviews on the integrity of Hip Hop journalism.

Sharing a clip of Althoff’s episode with Offset, Hill lamented the decline of quality Hip Hop reporting, suggesting that artists' true stories remain untold or misunderstood due to a preference for less substantial media engagements.
